Attendance and Expectations
Students will arrive at least 5 minutes before the scheduled beginning of the lesson.
If a student cannot make a lesson, he/she or their parents must communicate this to the instructor via phone call or text message ASAP.
Students will have all piano books, loose music, and assignment notebook ready and with them at the beginning of each lesson.
Students will bring their best attitude with them to each lesson.
Students will show respect during lessons by listening, asking questions, and following instructions.
Students will practice at home for at least 5 minutes per day on most days between lessons.
Cancellation/Rescheduling
Unless otherwise discussed between student/student’s parent and the instructor, it is assumed that the student will attend 1 lesson per week for all weeks in a given month.
All canceled lessons must be communicated to the instructor at the first lesson of each month. If the first lesson of the month is canceled, the instructor must be notified 24 hours ahead of the scheduled lesson.
If a student/student’s parent cancels a lesson after the designated notification period, the tuition for that lesson will not be refunded. Exceptions will be granted for sudden illness of the student and inclement weather.
Lessons may be rescheduled if canceled. Rescheduling must be worked out with the instructor.
If the instructor cancels a lesson, the tuition for that lesson will be refunded unless the lesson can be rescheduled for another time.
Tuition
Tuition is due at the first lesson of each month for all scheduled lessons.
Payment can be made by check, cash, or digital deposit (i.e. Paypal, Venmo, etc.)
If a check does not clear when cashed by the instructor, a fee of $25 will be charged to cover the bank fees.
Late tuition will include a $10 late fee.
Parking (For In-Studio Students ONLY)
Street parking is available on the east side of the street. Parents who are dropping off their students, but not staying for the lesson, may pull into the driveway on the north side of the building. Other options by arrangement.
