What is an In-Home Lesson?

In-home lessons are lessons that are held on-site in the student's home. The instructor comes to the student's house and works with the student there. Any instructional materials outside of the student's current books, and tools (except for the piano or keyboard) are stored at the student's house or brought to the house by the instructor.

Why would in-home lessons
work for me?

You have more than one student taking lessons.

If you have more than one person in your household taking lessons, having the instructor come to your house can be a great way to minimize the stress of getting to the lesson. No extra driving, no need to pack anything up, in-home lessons make it simpler.

You have a BUSY schedule.

Whether it's your work schedule, your student's extra-curricular schedule, or the entire family's schedule filling up your calendar, in-home lessons can lower the amount of time you have to set aside for driving to and from lessons

Student responds better in a familiar, comfortable environment.

If your student struggles with new experiences, new places, or just learns better in a familiar environment, in-home lessons can be a great choice for you! Lessons held in the home can increase the student's comfort when exploring a new learning opportunity.
